Sherwood Forest

Thank you to all residents and members who attended the recent Sherwood Forest Homeowners Association Annual Meeting.

We appreciate the many neighbors who participated respectfully, listened thoughtfully, and engaged constructively on issues affecting our community. Your involvement and care for Sherwood Forest are what sustain this Association and help guide its work.

At the same time, it is important to acknowledge that portions of the meeting were disrupted by a small number of attendees who sought to replace the Board without following established Association procedures. While differing viewpoints are welcome and expected, disruption is not productive and does not serve the broader community.

Of particular disappointment was the treatment of our invited guest, who attended with prior Board approval to share observations relevant to Sherwood Forest. His remarks were met with interruptions and boos, preventing him from speaking fully. Respectful conduct toward guests and fellow residents is a basic expectation at Association meetings, even when opinions differ.

The Board remains committed to open dialogue, transparency, and fairness. That commitment must be balanced with order, respect, and adherence to the governing documents that apply equally to all members.

Transparency and Next Posts

In keeping with this commitment, the Association will be posting public HOA records to this website so that all Members in Good Standing have equal access to the same information. Upcoming posts will include:

  • Approved Board meeting minutes

  • Treasurer and financial reports

  • Statements of Financial Position and Management Reporting

  • Other Association communications provided to members

These materials reflect the official records of the Association and are provided to ensure clarity, accountability, and transparency.

We encourage all members to review the posted documents as they become available and to engage constructively as we continue working in the best interests of Sherwood Forest.

Questions and Communications

To ensure communications are properly received, documented, and addressed consistently, members wishing to submit questions, comments, or requests regarding Association matters should do so in writing by emailing:

info@sherwoodforesthoa.org

This helps the Board respond accurately and ensures transparency and fairness for all members.

Thank you again to those who attended and participated respectfully.
